TASPRO HYBRID Intake Installation



The following instructions are merely one suggested method for installation. There are other ways to properly install your intake. T.A.S. Auto Parts is only responsible for the parts included in the kit and is not responsible for faulty installations. Labor claims will not be acknowledged. If you are not familiar with the processes listed below, please seek the help of a professional automotive technician.
1. For this tech tip we will be using a 97 EX wagon with a stock intake.
2. Remove the 5 various lines that are attached to the upper intake pipe.
3. Start to remove the intake pipe by loosening the clamps and pulling up.
4. Make sure to remove the vacuum line that is clipped onto the lower portion of the pipe. At this point, you should be able to completely remove the pipe.
5. Remove the top of the air cleaner by loosening these 4 bolts with either a phillips head screwdriver or a 8mm socket.
6. Replace the filter with your new K&N drop-in filter.
7. Fit the intake pipe onto the trottle body with one of the supplied couplers and 2 clamps.
8. Attach the other end of the new pipe to the air cleaner with the second coupler and clamps.
9. Use the supplied vacuum line to reconnect the hard tube to your new intake.
